The
'Creating Space'
Way
At 'Creating Space' our mission is to facilitate a passionate and diverse environment for young players that inspires self expression on and off the pitch. We value creativity, mentality, community, and mentorship. Our goal is to simplify the process of being able to play while striving to provide a positive space for youth.

I was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, where a love for soccer blossomed at the age of four. Inspired by my father's coaching at William Jewell College, I dedicated nine years to playing at the premier club level. I chose to take a break from playing to explore other passions. My journey took me to Adidas, where I thrived as a team manager, discovering my knack for leading and inspiring teams.
Seeking new adventures, I moved to Hawaii, marking the beginning of my coaching career. I embraced opportunities to travel across New Mexico, California, and Washington, coaching soccer camps that enriched my experience and broadened my perspective on the sport. In Orange County, I took on a mentorship role with AYSO, helping new volunteer coaches find their footing in the world of soccer.
I then ventured to the Bay Area to connect with my roots, where my grandparents left a remarkable legacy as educators and community leaders, deeply embedded in the rich culture of Oakland. With my grandpa's basketball legacy at the University of San Francisco and my grandma's history at Berkeley, I was inspired to understand how their experiences shaped my family's commitment to coaching and teaching.
For the past few years, I have immersed my in the diverse soccer landscape of the Bay, embracing various roles and experiences that have enriched my coaching journey. My approach is defined by my passion for the game and dedication to nurturing young talent.
